Delft blue and white scarves were everywhere the eye could see. Sandra, Commissioner of Information Services reported that what started as merely a goal to knit scarves for the athletes and delegations mushroomed into a world-wide internet campaign. Over 67,000 delft blue and white scarves were donated. Smokey Bear lost his scarf and here, she gives him another one. Cash donations were accepted in exchange for the scarves.
